Flagship showcases further advances in cell-based analysis of immunohistochemistry and tumor heterogeneity profiling
4 APRIL 2012 – Chicago, IL – Flagship Biosciences presented two posters at the American Association of Cancer Research meeting related to their novel approaches to evaluating protein expression in tissue samples. The first is titled “CellMapTM : Tumor Cell Subpopulation Analysis
in Immunohistochemistry Stained Tumor Tissue” and describes novel techniques for tissue pattern recognition and the measurement of nuclear, cytoplasm, and membrane compartmentalization using algorithms developed by Flagship image analysis scientists.
The second is titled “Evaluating Tumor Heterogeneity in Immunohistochemistry Stained Breast Cancer Tissue” and describes further advances in Flagship’s ability to evaluate tumor heterogeneity with immunohistochemistry multiplexing techniques.
